Finding Yourself in Meditation

Wednesday, October 27 (5PM – 6PM PST)

Cost: Free

Meditation is a powerful tool for stress relief, improving concentration, becoming more self-aware, building resilience, healing and boosting overall health, and increasing happiness.

Whether you are new to meditation or have a frequent practice this session has something to offer you. We spend much of our lives connected to our outer world. This means that we relate to the world around us by identifying with it. While this identification can help us understand the world around us, it often causes us to get caught up in these outer happenings.

The practice of meditation opens our mind and serves as a catalyst for transformation. With regular meditation practice we are able to better respond to the external influences in our lives. When we Meditate, we bring the body and the mind into the same place, at the same time.

In Meditation, our focus shifts inward. This shift opens the doors to inward perception and ultimately to expanded awareness. When we are not limited by identification, we are free to explore all possibilities. We see the world as it truly is –limitless and ever-evolving Are you curious about how Meditation can work for you? Interested in starting your own personal practice?
