Bringing Nature Indoors for Beginners with Lindsay Jane

Dive into the wonderful world of indoor plants with this hour-long workshop on Friday, May 7th at 4:30pm PST/7:30pm EST. Do you have plants in your home? Curious about what may be ideal for your space? Wondering how to care for your plants? Then this event will be great for you!

We will be covering everything you need to know to get started with indoor plants and gardening! Learn about the history, benefits and basic needs for today’s most popular species, and figure out what would work best in your home.

Keeping houseplants has never been easier, and together we will go over what you need to know. Come join us with your roommates or family for this indoor gardening workshop. There will be time for discussion and questions. So grab a notebook, and come join us for an evening of plant talk.

Lindsay Jane is a graduate of the University of Guelph’s horticulture program and has explored the world of horticulture and landscaping for several years. Her passion and curiosity for plants and the natural world has inspired her to learn as much as possible and to share that love with anyone she can. She has worked as the assistant horticulturist of an Audubon Society approved golf club, and currently works as a landscape gardener. She is also an avid Solarpunk and runs one of the largest online communities of Solarpunks. For fun, she loves to care for her indoor jungle and rescues abandoned and mistreated plants.
